White Chocolate Mochaccino Or An Orange Mocha Frappuccino?

To some people, coffee is a fad that went burst in Patagonia Womens Plush Synchilla Crew Shirt fall 2007 70s, but those who are insiders know this is absolutely not true. And anyone who disputes this only need to take a walk down the main street and observe the number of flourishing coffee houses, and how different people go their as if their lives depend on it.

Of course, there certainly must be something intriguing about a freshly roasted bean. Because it is surprising to note that despite the avalanche of coffee cafes that are swarming with patrons on a daily basis, some people still detest starting their day with a white chocolate mochaccino. But this would have been perfectly excused if we are talking about an orange mocha frappuccino. Well, I hope you catch the joke. Back to serious business.

The inference from the above is just that coffee houses might be arcteryx womens dually jacket spring 42500 and be in vogue, they are still not the favorite dive of some people. In fact some real java aficionados still show preference for their simple but proven drip pots over the ostentatious stuff.

And you must believe me on this count, because I have been around for a while and knows what I am saying. There is no better time for the cup coffee maker to play an important role than now.

The single cup coffee maker is a vital companion a true java lover must have. My parents have been drinking pot coffee for as long as I can remember, but they have their beverage with the old standard drip maker. Now, coffee lovers who take about five cups in the morning will find this very ideal for their purpose, but it definitely amounts to a burden for people who takes their coffee once. A very good example of someone who can make do with a cup coffee maker is my mother.

Every morning Lowe Alpine Tfx Cerro Torre 65 Pack 4000cu In gets up from the bed, she won’t feel at ease until she had relaxed with her traditional cup of coffee. This motivated me to go online and search for a suitable cup coffee maker for her, and I did just that last year. while surfing cyberspace, I came across numerous varieties but separating the wheat from the chaff did not pose any problem for me, as I relied on the several reviews of people that have had previous experience on the subject, to guide me.

The awesome information I had at my disposal and the numerous feedback comments helped me a great deal to locate a cup coffee maker at a bargain price, for my mother. Tell you what folks? Those sites out there are out to get business from you and other people, so there is a high probability that you will find one you like for the right price.

Any coffee aficionado worth his or her salt must have the single cup coffee maker to prove its fealty to the beverage and for the purpose of enjoying their java every time.

And the additional advantage you will get from this is the luxury and convenience of being able to use a fresh cup every time you want your java, plus the pleasure of knowing that you will no longer drink the stale and often foul tasting brew that was brewed hours earlier.

Tomorrow belongs to Asia’s Entrepreneurs?

I’m looking to buy a rental property in Oxford - near to where I live. Last week I browsed the web sites of six local estate agents, clicked the “contact us” button of all six, asked one of two questions and to be added to their mailing lists.

Within two hours one had called me, discussed my situation and given excellent advice and service. As for the others - nothing, zero, not a dickie bird - after seven days.

Unfortunately that experience Deuter Act Lite 4010 Pack spring 2008 not unusual in Europe or in the US.

It’s the small details that delineate excellent service from the rest and for me this is a prime example. Guess which agent is going to get my business.

In Asia that attention to detail and outstanding service simply runs in the blood - and Singapore is simply the world leader. Singapore has a multicultural population of 4.5 million, no natural resources and no history of empire but it has a GNP per head almost identical to that of the European Union and growing. Singapore’s success has been built on service and delighting the customer - always and in a manner unparalleled anywhere else in the world. From the legendary service and memorable experience of flying Singapore Airlines (now the most profitable airline in the world - is there a connection I wonder?), to the remarkable performance metrics achieved at Changi airport (for example: no waiting at immigration and a matter of honour that your bag gets to the Habitual Jeans Middy Panacea In Halcyon before you do), through the delight of staying in a Singapore hotel to the courtesy of taxi drivers and in-store sales staff.

Contrast that with the experience often felt when staying in a hotel in the UK - memorable only for a feeling of having been ripped off; or of riding in a New York taxi where, as often as not, you have to give the directions - that is if you’re lucky enough to get a cab driver that speaks English.

Whilst Singapore is currently pre-eminent in matters of service and customer delight I see many other Asian nations aspiring to knock them off that top slot.

This then is the background out of which Asia’s entrepreneurs are growing - and growing fast. A background quite simply of living in customers’ shoes and striving to delight them each and every time you impact with them.

I recently spoke at the “New Wave Leadership” conference in Singapore and had the privilege of sharing the platform with some of the top entrepreneurs, CEOs and business thinkers in the region - people like Ron Sim of OSIM. This is a business, under Ron’s guidance, that is achieving fabulous worldwide growth and excellent returns in a market dominated by the big Japanese corporates. Sunny Verghese of Olam International was another memorable speaker - sharing his story of his company’s transition from a green-field start-up to a global leader in the supply chain management of agricultural products and food ingredients.

These then are the entrepreneurs to whom the global future belongs. Why? - not just because they have customer service in their blood but they have other unique skills also. For example they seem to have an effortless ability to sell globally that others do not. Whilst we can all bring to mind successful global corporations from many national backgrounds my experience is that there are national “fault lines” that become apparent particularly when you look at smaller middle sized companies and the way they operate.

In Europe, for example, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and the UK are better than most at doing business around the world with successful major corporations like Nokia, Philips and Glaxo Smith Kline respectively but among smaller companies I still find a reluctance to do everything possible to make it easy for their overseas customers to buy from them. All too often, for example, I come across companies that are only prepared to sell in euros or pounds and will not contemplate selling to their overseas customers in their own local currency - no matter how strong it is.

Similarly US companies will certainly “talk the talk” on service and customer focus but all too often it is only skin deep and they fail to “walk the talk”. In the US exporting is all too frequently seen as what you do when the home market takes a tumble - and many US companies really do seem to believe in a “one size fits all” mentality and fail to even attempt to understand the local business needs. When Disneyland Paris was in development Disney Corporation executives would not accept the local advice that in France you simply have to include wine on the lunch menu in any restaurant. Only when the business came perilously close to chapter 11 did this and other adjustments to the US model to adapt to local needs get belatedly made.

The Japanese “fault line” seems also to be an reluctance to adopt and adapt to local conditions - and I’ve also seen something of a nervousness and an insecurity in Japanese executives when they are outside their own country - mirrored also by middle sized German company executives - and this leads them to a lack of perception of local business cultures.

Asian, and particularly Singaporean, business leaders seem immune from such “fault lines” - not only do they normally have the ability to speak both Mandarin Chinese and English giving them immediate access to both the largest and fastest-growing economies of the world - but also they have neither the arrogance to believe their business model is the only one nor the lack of perception when away from their home market of others. They appear to follow the textbook method and learn Arcteryx Khamsin 70 Pack spring 2008 the local business culture, put on that coat and then define a strategy for success in that market that is then driven through to success. It is extremely impressive.

When you add to all that the endemic culture in the region of continuous education and professional development plus the support of governments not seen in a majority of countries you have to admit that the rest of the world has a real challenge on its hands unless it shapes up, and shapes up quickly.

“Okay”, I hear you say, “so you are in love with Asia and particularly Singapore, but you must have some areas of concern also”

Well, yes I do. It’s to do with families and family businesses - which of course is how just about every business starts out in life. I was speaking to the CEO of an advertising agency in Singapore recently and he told me that his very best designer had come to him that morning to say that she was resigning. He, of course, asked why and what he had to do to keep her. She said that she was joining the family business and that her father had told her that it was time and that she could not demure. The business is in window joinery and you do have to wonder if firstly her talents are right for the business and secondly whether she will be fulfilled.

I work with many family businesses, indeed I’m a non-executive director of two, and I firmly believe that whilst family members should be enabled to join the business if they have both a desire and appropriate talent, compulsion is not in anybody’s long-term interest - including that of the business. It may simply be a generational phenomena but I believe Asian family businesses need to think about this.

They perhaps need to learn from the mistakes of the past. We have an expression in Britain: “clogs to clogs in three generations”. This refers to the footwear that used to be worn by the working man and the fact that many family companies whilst highly successful under the entrepreneurs that conceived them are then destroyed by the next two family generations.

Josiah Wedgwood, of pottery fame, was one such 19th century entrepreneur. He was said to have the flair and creativity of the French, the marketing skills of the Americans, the manufacturing talent of the Japanese and the financial acumen of the Swiss. His was a truly world-class entrepreneurial business that was pre-eminent in its day but within two generations it had all but disappeared. Entrepreneurs by definition are risk-takers and it can often be that subsequent generations are naturally risk averse - perhaps arguing that they want to protect what they have inherited. This alone can cause the rapid decline in the fortunes of the business unless the founder has put in place a very strong business culture that can survive the generations.

In this business world we are now in mediocrity is not tolerated - all of us believe as consumers or business buyers that we have an absolute right to buy excellent products and services. It is clear therefore that increasingly the differentiator between the successful business and the rest is not the quality and performance of the basic “product” - that’s a “given” - but the quality of the experience the customer has - the “wow” factor.

I see Asian companies get more “wows” than most and the rest of the world needs to take note.

So those five estate agents in Oxford you need to get your act together - and just maybe you could then conquer the world - but only if the Asian entrepreneurs let you!

How To Buy Mexican Auto Insurance Using This Little Known Technique

Learn Why Your Current Auto And Medical Plans Are Not Enough

Mexico consistently ranks amongst the top ten destinations for travelers. Its tropical resorts and mountain retreats offer a range of activities from shopping to adventure sports. It also creates the right circumstances for accidents and injuries.

According to the Department of State, the lead U.S. foreign affairs agency, many American visitors assume the standards of security and safety are the same as they are in the U.S. These presumptions have lead not only to serous injuries, but even deaths. Compounded by differences in Mexican law, accidents and medical emergencies can become a costly and bureaucratic nightmare. As a result, the Department of State urges citizens to take responsibility for their safety, and to also ensure that they have the auto and medical insurance needed.

Driving and Mexican Law

Mexico’s Habitual Jeans Standard Glory In Sun Fade is based on Forum Youngblood Insert 152cm Snowboard Menandaposs Code where guilt is assumed over innocence. As a result, all drivers must have a Mexican insurance policy from a company authorized to do business in Mexico to cover damages or injuries.

“U.S liability insurance is simply not valid in Mexico,” says Linden Gray, Director of the http://MexicanInsuranceStore.com. “That even includes most of the major U.S. collision and comprehensive coverage plans.”

In addition to the required Mexican auto insurance, you should also consider a plan that covers legal aid and bond fees.

“In Mexico, it is considered a felony to have a traffic accident, says Gray. “While the police are investigating who is at fault, your vehicle may be impounded and you will be detained by Mexican authorities.”

The Department of State further warns U.S. travelers that they can be prevented from leaving the country even if “life-saving medical care” is required.

Emergency Medical Services

Mexico Dc Memphis Jacket Mens a free national health care system; however, visitors are not entitled to this service. Tourists can only receive medical treatment and medications from private clinics and hospitals. Gray’s company strongly urges customers to check their medical insurance company to confirm whether their policy applies in Mexico and whether it will cover emergency expenses such as a medical evacuation.

Surprisingly, most Mexican auto insurance plans will only help you find a facility, and may only cover up to four passengers. Many medical assistance plans only cover portions of the cost depending on location, activity or cause of injury. For those with the Social Security Medicare Program, costs for hospital or medical care outside the United States are not covered at all.

“It’s important to fill the gaps and exclusions that your auto and medical insurances have,” says Gray. “In addition to Mexican auto insurance, travelers should add an emergency medical assistance option because most health plans exclude medical evacuation in foreign countries.”

Gray recommends a plan like Assist America which is used by the American Medical Association and the American Red Cross. This type of plan provides services such as emergency medical evacuations, critical care monitoring, and guaranteed hospital admission.

Selecting A Plan

The easiest and quickest way to find Mexican auto insurance is online. When selecting a plan, look for one that offers the following:

? Third Party (Civil) Liability
? Medical Expenses for Driver and Occupants
? Assist America Medical and Travel Assistance
? Physical Damage and Total Theft of Vehicle
? Legal Assistance and Bail Bond
? Roadside Assistance
? Partial Theft and Vandalism
? Guaranteed Hospital Admission

Make sure the plan covers you during your entire stay. Most plans have daily, six month, and annual policies.

In addition, take into consideration the type of activities you plan to enjoy and their locations. Look for medical emergency assistance plans with very few limitations or exclusions such as:

? Maximum Of Number of Passengers (Other Plans Only Cover Up To 4 Passengers)
? Limits less than$100,000 per passenger for Any Medical Assistance Service Including Expensive Air Or Land Evacuation.
? Rural Mexico Territory Exclusion. (Almost all emergency assistance wording says “We will do the best we can in rural Mexico”)
? Exclusions For Pre-Conditions (Except Late Pregnancy)
? Sport Or Adventure Activity Exclusions (Surfing, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Mountain Climbing, Snorkeling, Kayaking Or Diving In Mexico Are All OK with Assist America )
? Civil War Or Terrorism Exclusions

The Director of Mexican Insurance Store, Linden H. Gray, has over 29 years retail, wholesale, and direct insurance experience. Visit http://mexicaninsurancestore.com in Perris, CA for more information about Mexican Auto Insurance. Policies can be ordered and printed online in minutes.

Being a Hindu in the Cardiff, Wales, UK

This is a brief perspective of British Hindus living in Cardiff, Wales. Indian immigration to the UK increased significantly in the 1960s and 1970s mainly doctors immigrating to fill the shortage of doctors. Indians living in Cardiff are the most successful community than any other ethnic community in Wales making them in a good financial position and influence in many political Mountain Hardwear Trance Backpack fall 2007 of Cardiff. Patagonia Down Sweater Womens of them are well-educated, hard working, and honest and have the advantage of English as their first and second languages.

Most of the Indians are first generation specially doctors. They believe in family values, are committed to their children’s future, not only in terms of their education but culture. As all expatriates one thing do worry them is about their children’s future. How can they be successful, incorporate into the British society and at the same time maintain their Hinduness. They are undoubtedly concerned about their Hindu way of life being trampled by pop culture. Although Hindu worship is generally a private and personal thing it has become community worship for many expatriates that is quite understandable. Many Hindu parents do not have the time to bring their children up in a traditional Hindu way as they are concerned about their financial future only to realise later that their children are diverting away from the Hindu religion. Being a Hindu in Cardiff is different than being a Hindu in India. Indians are surrounded by a sea of religion in India hence there is no need to cling on to it. All Hindu parents want their children to maintain ties with their families back in India, learn Hindi and the Hindu way of life. Hence to preserve this Indian culture and religion several temples and societies have sprung up. One such organization is the “India centre” with integrated “Wales Hindu society”.

Some of the activities carried out by the India centre is spiritual talks by invited spiritual leaders or gurus, cultural programs such Garba (Region Gujarati dance), celebrating festivals (Holi, Durga puja, Deewali, etc) yoga and meditation, 50+ activities and Hindi classes. Although such activities are aimed at preserving the dharma for the first generation, it helps to incorporate the teachings in the second generation and stimulate bonds with fellow Hindus.

Eating Can Be An Adventure - Keep It Interesting, Simple, Healthful, And Fun

I have been preparing my own meals for many years. Like most people, I suppose, I would fix only familiar dishes.

That has changed. For health benefits, I began eating more fruits and vegetables, including some that were unfamiliar. I tried many foods that were new to me, for example, whole grains, and various types of beans, seeds and nuts. Many of those became favorites.

I began to more often use unfamiliar ways to prepare food. A few of my favorites are pesto (pureed greens and oil), raw foods that are normally eaten cooked, and unusual combinations such as bread with peanut butter, covered with pizza sauce. Eating became more interesting, more enjoyable, and more of an adventure.

The circumstances of my life encouraged more changes. Making do with a small amount of money gave me a liking for oatmeal, beans, and other very low-cost foods. Growing up on a farm and having a garden each year provided new fruits and vegetables to try and enjoy. Having been raised to ‘waste not, want not’, helped me not to pass up unusual foods: gifts such as my sister’s ‘beans ‘n’ greens’, the landlord’s pierogies, and my son’s homemade deer jerky. The point is: The changes in my diet gave me more foods to enjoy. I exped andromeda tent fall 2007 43000 know that I can like a great many unfamiliar foods. At first some of those foods may not be enjoyed because they are so different and are unrecognized as a ‘goody’. For me, that recognition is typically made gradually by many small trials. Once that recognition is made, the food ‘hits the spot’ and can be nutritious, healthy and convenient. Then I have yet another food to enjoy.

The process of trying new foods and having them become enjoyed fare, makes eating an adventure. Eating becomes more interesting and more enjoyed. Meals become more than a time to enjoy what I have enjoyed before. Awareness is heightened by experiencing the unfamiliar. There is anticipation of discovery of a new enjoyment. Meals become pay-off times of previous experimentation efforts. The food is more appreciated for having creative effort invested in it. Perhaps I have gained a health benefit, saved some prep time, saved money that can be used for some other purpose, and have added to my repertoire of pleasure.

A cookbook will give you ideas about what new foods to try. A recipe book about a particular ethnic food or some other unfamiliar category of food would be particularly helpful. Buy one or get one from the library. Some ethnic categories are Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian, African, soul food, Southern, and Mexican. Other categories are health food, quick and easy recipes, weight loss diets, vegetarian recipes, and using food from the garden. You might even enjoy some obscure categories such as Marmot Earlylight 2 Tent Footprint American food, Native American food, wild food, early European food, food from storage, and low cost food. I particularly like quick and easy recipe books.

If you need help becoming comfortable with trying new foods, try small changes:

- Eat breakfast foods at lunch or supper. Or try a vegetable at breakfast. If you normally have a sandwich at bedtime, have a salad instead.

- Try different brands from the ones you normally use.

- Leave out one or more ingredients from your standard recipes. Or change the proportions - a little more of this or a little less of that.

- Substitute a similar ingredient for a usual ingredient, for instance, orange juice concentrate or lemon juice instead of vinegar on a salad.

- It may help to eat smaller portions but include a greater number of foods at each meal. That may help you develop a liking for variety.

- Try unusual combinations such as cooked chicken and raw fruit cut in small pieces and mixed together…or pizza sauce on a peanut butter open-face sandwich…or a teaspoon of honey or pancake syrup on a dark green, leafy salad.

Salads are great to experiment with. Many vegetables can be enjoyed in a salad. Try various amounts and combinations of carrot, tomato, cabbage, broccoli, bell pepper, cucumber, or other vegetables you enjoy. Use other types of greens: romaine lettuce, Bibb lettuce, collards, mache and basil. Dressing can be just oil, pesto, syrup, tomato sauce, ketchup, fruit juices, mayonnaise, peanut butter softened with oil, and even jam or jelly.

The subtle flavors of many vegetables are easily hidden with anything more than tiny amounts of vinegar, lemon juice and tomato sauce. Try a salad without any dressing to enjoy the full flavor of the vegetables. The vegetables can be proportioned to subdue or enhance particular flavors - use less basil to lessen its pungent flavor, use more carrot to boost its flavor and texture. Other salad ingredients can be nuts, peanuts, coconut, cereal, baked beans, and fruit.

Use small quantities of an untested food to begin with until you know how well your body deals with it. The body will adapt to some foods over a period of weeks or months but results vary from food to food and, I suppose, from individual to individual. A couple of years ago eating one spear of raw asparagus was more than I could tolerate. Now I can cut up an ounce of raw asparagus and add it to a salad without any problem. Any food has limits; it’s just that raw foods tend to have smaller limits and more immediate penalties for exceeding the limits.

To develop a liking for a new food, eat it at the beginning of a meal when you are most hungry. Being hungry greatly improves ones ability to appreciate the taste of a food. Eat only a small amount of the new food at each sitting. For some foods, a tiny bite, just enough to sense its flavor, is enough to handle at first. Don’t give up easily on a food that at first seems too strange to be enjoyed. Some foods will require dozens of ‘get acquainted’ trials.

Other strategies for liking new foods:

- Read about nutrition and health to know the benefits of a changed diet.

- Make a decision to increase the pleasure in your life. Your success in enjoying new foods will encourage you to try other kinds of new pleasures.

Have reasons in mind to try unusual foods:

- to be able to enjoy healthy foods.

- to enjoy low-prep-time foods.

- to use what you can grow in your garden.

- for the satisfaction of acquiring new pleasures.

- to increase your enjoyment of eating.

Know why liking new foods is difficult. This is the know-your-enemy principle. It seems to help me. People have an instinctive protection against eating toxic foods. Nature has provided you with mistrust for new, unfamiliar food. If the food is enough different from what you are used to, it will not be immediately liked. This is a necessary instinct that keeps you from poisoning yourself by eating the wrong mushroom, for example. Evolution along with chemistry eliminated the gulp-down-anything individuals from our gene pool. The little-by-little taste-developers survived.

If it’s the sugar, salt and spices you depend upon to enjoy food, other flavors will go unappreciated. To help your fondness for new foods come easier, ease up on spices, salt, and sugar. That encourages your taste to appreciate a greater variety of flavors. You then can more appreciate the sweetness of cherry tomatoes, the sweetness of raw pumpkin, and the sweetness of sweet potatoes, for example. You can enjoy the mild flavor of raw chestnuts, the richness of nuts, and the subtle starchiness of cereal grains. Your palate will be more adept at experiencing the pleasures of subtle flavors. A great many foods that previously seemed mostly tasteless, can then be enjoyed for their unique flavors.

Your enjoyment of strong tasting food will also be helped by reducing sugar and salt use. You will be Capita Photo Fetish 158cm Snowboard Menandaposs from depending on saltiness and sweetness to getting pleasure from other flavors.

Finding new foods:

- Browse at a health food store, a farmers market or an ethnic food festival.

- Take the time to look at all the items at a local supermarket.

- Browse at local ethnic food markets: Middle Eastern or Greek, for example.

- Try raw foods, whole grains and other unprocessed foods. Typically, they have more texture and flavor. These foods are higher in fiber and so produce more intestinal gas. Limit portion size to reduce gas production. Load up when gas will not be a problem. I allow myself to pig-out at a before bedtime meal. If the meal is low in calories, that large meal doesn’t keep me from having a good night’s sleep.

- Use native plants foraged from lawns, fence lines, and woodlands; and growing as weeds in gardens. Know what you are doing, there are poisonous plants that resemble edible ones. A few plants are toxic even when eaten in small quantities.

- Do your own cooking. Restaurants have menus that appeal to a majority of people, not to people wanting something different. Even the person who cooks for their own family may be unlikely to prepare other than familiar and popular food.

- Have a garden, if you have the time and space. Every year I can try out new recipes and a new vegetable or two. Otherwise, take advantage of the variety the large supermarkets offer.

Cooking Asparagus The Fun And Easy Way

Preparation Spyder Velocity Backpack the key when you’re going to cook asparagus. There are several methods of cooking boiling, Patagonia Girls Synchilla Plush Pile Jacket fall 2007 steaming, or roasting. The microwave is also a good option when cooking asparagus. Cut the asparagus into sections and you can use it in stirfries you can also blanch the asparagus and use it in vegetable dips. Of course, there’s nothing like steamed asparagus with butter, salt, and pepper.

When buying asparagus make sure that it is fresh, the asparagus will taste much better and can be kept for two to three days when properly stored. Once you get the asparagus home and ready to prepare, you’ll need to trim it. The easiest way to trim asparagus before cooking is to simply do it by hand by bending the stock until it breaks. If it will not break but only bends, it is probably old and will not be as fresh as you would like it. Some cooks prefer to peel the bottom of the stocks this is not really necessary but sometimes helps when the stocks are a little woody. Contrary to popular belief the thicker asparagus is actually more flavorful than the pencil thin variety that most people want to buy.

An easy way to peel asparagus if you decide to go that route, is to lay a stalk on the counter or a cutting board and use a vegetable peeler. Starting at the top of the asparagus peel all the way to the end. The main reason anybody would peel asparagus, as I mentioned above, would be to make the asparagus more tender. You don’t need to completely peel the asparagus either, simply peel down one one side to allow moisture to enter the asparagus while it is cooking.

If you want to steam the asparagus here is a simple method. After you have timmed your asparagus to the size you need, and optionally peeled it, place them in a saucepan and about an inch of water. Another steaming method you can use when cooking asparagus is to stand them vertically. Make sure you tie the bundles at the bottom and the top so they don’t fall over in the pan. They should steam for approximately 5 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness.

Boiling is a Arcteryx Beta Sl Jacket Womens way to cook asparagus also. You want to use just enough water to cover the asparagus but make sure all the stems face the same direction and are covered with water. The asparagus will take between four to six minutes to cook completely, but again that depends on the size.

One method I really enjoy is using the grill. Cooking asparagus on the grill either directly over the fire or on skewers gives a great smoky flavor. Depending how you like them, cook the asparagus for anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Another great way to cook the asparagus is to wrap them in foil with a little bit of olive oil and salt and pepper and cook them on the grill for 10-20 minutes. You’ll have a great treat.

On those winter days when you really don’t want to cook asparagus on the BBQ, another great option is roasting. Simply heat the oven to 425? F, and lay the asparagus flat on a baking sheet lined with foil. You can put any seasoning you want on the asparagus when roasting; salt, pepper, lemon pepper or any other spice that you have on hand are good. You will be rewarded with a nice tender stalk with a roasted flavor in about two to three minutes.
